Help MMS not able to receive .png files

MMS not able to receive .png files (screenshots) from others. Without the sender manually changing file extension, is there a way to either have the screenshot save a different file extension by default or another way around file being deleted upon receipt?

That would be something the sender would have to handle. It would depend on the phone he is using. My S3 saves screen shots as .jpg.

Ok. I'll look into the settings...

After review, ive found the image is saved as .PNG file in Pictures/Screenshots folder by default on the S3. What version are you running?

Hmmm. Interesting. Even wife's SGH-T999 saves them as .png
