Hello everyone,
Actually I want to do a project in my 4'th year Project/Thesis which will be a mobile application. The feature will be, suppose you are visiting Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh. Suppose in Dhaka city there are several place named as "X", "Y", "Z", Now suppose you are in the place named as "X" and you want to go place named as "Y", as you are new in Bangladesh you can use you mobile set to find out how to go to the place "Y" from "X". I actually don't know is it a big project or not, but my Supervisor will be satisfied if I can make it for my campus area. I don't know is GPS necessary here? Can anyone guide me how can I accomplished this task?

Thanks in advance:)

If you want accurate results (instead of accuracy within 600ft), then yes. And assuming you will be walking, gps accuracy is a must.

On your phone, open up Google Navigation or Google Maps, as they already do this.

Thanks for your quick response. I know that Google already do that but I want to made it by me (I want to code it). How can I implement this? can you give me some suggestion?

I would highly advise you to take a few computer/coding classed at a local college. Making complicated apps like that isnt something you can just learn in a few hours.

I know it will take lot of my time, but as a part of my final year project I have to do it for my university area, so can you help me by giving some resources available in internet. Thanks for your help.
