mobile banking app prob

I just got my galaxys a few days ago and noticed it came with a mobile banking app already installed. I use a small bank that only has branching in my state. I figured what the hell and searching for it and sure enough to my surprise I found it. I signed up and eventually it worked and showed me my current balance. I just tried it today and it wont refresh and its gets stuck on updating and then comes up with some kind of error. It never wants to update. IDK if its a issue on my banks end or not but is there any other apps that may support searching for banks like this one does??

If you just need something simple you might take a look at this:

Personal Finance by Pageonce - Android app on AppBrain

It's pretty straightforward and I've never had a problem refreshing my accounts. You can't, however, do things like transfer funds and such.

Tried it and out it seems much faster than the mobile banking app. I dont really need to transfer funds so much as to see how much I have in there. Since im on those guys who nevers balanced a check book before.

BTW is the mobile banking a perm app? I looked into the manage applications and didnt see it listed. Im still very new to this OS so if its something obvious please let me know.

Is this the one you're referring to?

Mobile Banking - Bank where you are, when you want.

Mobile Banking - Supported Devices

It came preinstalled on my Vibrant, but you can download it as well. You may have to root and use something like Root Explorer or Titanium Backup to get rid of it. If I remember correctly, that's what I did to dispatch it to electronic oblivion.

Yea that was it..ehh rooting to get rid of it... I can live with it for now. I still wanna get used to the OS before I start messing with it.
