Help Mobile data not working on new unlocked Huawei Sonic

hi everyone,

2 days ago i went and bought an unlocked Huawei Sonic from my local Woolworths and put my crazy johns pre-paid sim in it. its a great phone, especially coming from a U8150 IDEOS. BUT..... the mobile data wont work, and i have been pulling my hair out trying to fix this. I get the flashing mobile data thing in the status bar (the 3G logo with the 2 flashing arrows), but when i go into the browser or facebook or anything that uses the internet, it just sits there for ages then says network error. plz help its a brand new phone

guaranty issue!! you can go back to the store and ask to replacement
Woolworths ,, I knew them, they have grate customer care ever

Go to settings - wireless & networks - mobile networks - access point names and check internet instead of wap. I had the same issue and that's how I solved it. Hope I helped.

Thanks, but i already checked the APN'S and changed them to the crazy johns ones listed on their website. i think i fixed it by recharging my credit which comes with 500 mb bonus data, i will post back if it starts playing up again
