Mobile data not working (Total Wireless)

I have an LG v10 and I switched to total wireless recently. Anyways, when I turn on data, sometimes it works and shows the little 3G icon in the notification bar. When I get to certain areas, it switches to 4G and then it grays out and the little arrows showing you have connection disappear. I tried resetting the network settings and resetting the phone which did not work. Solutions would be appreciated. Thanks.

This being a public help forum it could possibly help someone having a similar issue with either Total Wireless or a LG V10 if you stated just how the problem was 'fixed'.
