mobile data not working

i have samsung galaxy s dous. suddendy my mobile data is not working for 3 weeks. if i activate my mobile data the 'E' is blinking and get disappearing and internet is not connecting. please help me and say how to rectify the problem. but wifi is connecting. Ive even gone into the settings and everything seems to be normal but it still doesnt get activated. Even if I try and go onto the internet it says I haven't got any data active but I have put it on?
 
Have you checked that there's no issue with your network account? Call your provider and have them check.

If that's OK, then have the network check the SIM - it may need to be replaced (should be a free replacement).

If that doesn't work, you could try backing up as much as you can and doing a factory reset.

If none of that helps, then I'm afraid you probably need to send the phone in for repair :(
