I have found that the mobile hotspot feature on my Verizon Kyrocera Brigadier is nearly useless. I get 35-50% packet loss between the laptop and phone (pinging the phone's wifi adaptor IP address / LAN gateway address).
My old Casio Commando II had no such issue, its mobile hotspot was rock solid at all times- talking on the phone browsing on the handset, etc. It seems on the Kyrocera it barely works at all, sometimes going 5 minutes with no replies. Sometimes if you touch the phone it will work again, but then start dropping packets again. browsing or doing nearly anything else on the phone results in total packet loss.
What is going on?? The older Commando was completely fine! I've tried two Brigidier handets, both have the issue.
Has anyone else noticed a problem with theirs?
