He tried that but it didn't work for him.I find it easier to just put the Hot Spot button on the top row of the Notifications menu. Easy to do and you don't need any widgets or helper apps
So when you manually turn the Hotspot on from the Settings menu, does it work ?No I don't have that in my notifications drawer. I've tried to figure out how to add it with no luck. I tried editing the settings for what icons are available there but couldn't find one for hotspot.View attachment 114914
There are a lot of trigger options, I just chose that one as a quick and easy demo.

Is there a working widget to turn Mobile Hotspot on and off? I've tried just about all of them in the Play Store and can't find one that works. I finally settled on a shortcut that takes you to the Tethering settings menu.
