Mobile Internet Auto Off

Hi. I am looking for an Android App that can auto switch my mobile data off after a specified time. Let's say for example I forgot to switch off my mobile internet data and I am not using my phone for sometime, this app can do that for me. I used to use app from play store, called, WI-FI/ Data Auto off - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.modura.networkautooff&hl=en

It worked very well on my former phone but now it doesn't work on my new current phone.
If you have an idea of an ideal one that does work please let me know.

Hi

Since android v5.0 I dont think any app has the ability to turn mobile data on or off at all unless you have rooted your device.

Try Macrodroid. Pretty sure that can do it with root.

@girolez , Thanks alot. That App - Macrodroid, worked exactly as I wanted. I set data auto off when screen goes off and it worked. if I forget to turn mobile data off after using it, this App does turn it off for me when screen goes off. I see it still other things that I can auto initiate.

Glad it helped. I have lots of macros dong things like:

Screen off when case closed
Screen on when case opened
No (shutter) sound when camera app running
Silent when power connected (no bleep late at night when I plug in to charge)
Swipe to change keyboard - works when its not open
Notification buttons for screen off and torch
Automate wifi on/off
Automate VPN start if connected to non home wifi

I use Tasker and have numerous Profiles and Tasks defined in it.

I am un-root-ed on 6.0.1 and as was pointed out toggling Mobile is not supported there either.

Tasker is more complicated than MacroDroid and many users like that while many other users don't.

A real separation comes with Tasker being able to convert a definition to an installable .apk file. This means you can run the created function on a device that does not also have Tasker installed. This is not the case with MacroDroid.l
