Help Mobile Network Disconnected?

intheclub

Lurker
I have an LG Spectrum that was being glitchy so I did a factory reset and since then I haven't been able to connect to my 4g. It says my mobile network is disconnected. I can make calls, text, and connect to wifi but not my 4g unless I go in to check for updates where it magically appears and then leaves once it's done checking.
I've tried doing the airplane mode thing and taking out the battery and all various combinations.
Any recommendations or fixes?
Thank you so much!

Do you have mobile data turned off? (It's in Settings/Connections/More networks/Mobile networks/)

This happened to my phone spectrum many times on stock fryo and rom Beanstalk, ice cream even on kitkat (cm, aokp). This was behavior network. I really hate it when I must wait 5 - 15 min to reconnect 4G tower. Rebooting does not help getting back connecting to 4G. Radio was V4, V7 and now is V8.

BTW: This same topic on verizon forum https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/887884

I don't have a 'build number" or a "version number". I can give you the model number which is VS920 4g and the PRL version which is 15310.
If you can see your PRL, then you went to far and are in the "status" menu. Go back one screen to the "About Phone" and scroll to the bottom, giving me either the build number or the version number.

Ahhhh under the software menu. IMM76D.
Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. It seems that you are still on stock ICS. If you have not rooted/unlocked the bootloader, I would take the phone in to Verizon and have them look at it. You could have a dying SIM card or a faulty setup in the VZW system.

If you have rooted/unlocked your bootloader, we'll need to find alternatives to fix your issue.

I can say this not always help getting to Verizon to look at it. 4G will return in several minutes. They will say it is okay now after period of the time. I hate this happening when I need to use Maps. I had to wait when data will return online.
