Mobile printing app?

ChristiKate

Can anyone tell me what I need to print things from the web from my HTC Thunderbolt? I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure it out (just switched from Crackberry). I bought a new wi-fi Canon printer because it stated it had mobile printing....ya, for pictures. Needless to say, it's going back tomorrow unless someone can help me out. Thanks so much!

Just did a search in the Android Market for "canon print" and 3 apps came up straight away. You could do the same. Also, there's an app called PrinterShare which will also do what you want.

PrintBot

PrinterShare

Canon Easy-PhotoPrint

I have done the same. And no they won't do what I want, thanks for taking your time to help. I spent the majority of my day researching on my own, before I asked for outside help.

Canon Easy-Photo is just for photos. I want to print webpages over the net, not pictures off of my phone.
I've tried PrinterShare, and it doesn't recognize Canon printers.

I have done the same.

My misunderstanding, sorry.

PrinterShare also has the ability to work via the cloud rather than direct to your wifi printer. This way you don't even have to be at home. Print sends the print job into the cloud where it waits for your PC. When you switch on your PC a Printershare client on there will check the cloud to see if there are any print jobs waiting and print any jobs waiting. This way it's using the printer driver on your PC and your phone does not need to talk to your printer directly. It's a bit of a round about way but it should work.
