Mobile to mobile calls

I'm currently an unhappy Sprint customer (no service where I live, Airave won't help, so I sent it back), and am thinking about switching back to Verizon.

I know that AT&T and Sprint have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes, any carrier. Does Verizon have a plan that is similar to that at all? I looked through their plans online and saw something about mobile to mobile, but am not 100% sure.

If they don't, it would be nice if they at some point in the future did, as they would then be competitive with the other carriers in that regard.

This will be a determining factor as to when/if I switch back to Verizon- I go through a ton of minutes on my phone each month (most of which are mobile to mobile), and would rather find a plan that includes such minutes, instead of having to pay 110 for an unlimited minute plan plus data and the extras.
 
IIRC, they have free mobile to mobile with other VZW customers. Depending on your plan, they also have an additional 5-10 numbers that you can add to your "free calling" circle.

you have to have 1400 minute plan to actually get the friends and family circle, cause i was hoping they would have it on the 700 or 400 but noooooo

yeah thats correct. For single lines its the 900 minute plan that gets 5 friends/family. For family plans its the 1400/2000 minute plan that gets 10 f/f to add on. Otherwise, vzw-vzw calls are always free. Other carriers, if not in your "circle" are using your anytime minutes.

Keep in mind, the unlimited voice plans are NOT eligible for employer discounts.....thats a little nugget I discovered not to long ago...

So, if you for instance worked for UPS, which qualifies for a 22% service discount on the main line, if you had unl voice, you would NOT get that 22% discount.

Also, free nights and weekends. So between 9pm and 559 AM monday thru thursday and 9pm fri thru 559 monday morning, all calls are free. Basically, during the day monday thru friday are the only time you would really use any of your minutes.

I had an ATT customer come in the other day to switch over, and they were concerned about the mobile to mobile minutes thing. I broke it down like that above, and then looked at their account, they had 30,000 rollover minutes banked up. So your paying for a service, your probably not using. Now, there are of course some people who will take advantage of those offers, but most average consumers do not. So keep that in mind as your thinking about switching.

Oh, and also, our data works, and we don't drop calls ;)
 
Don't think that is going to work. Guess I'll be shopping AT&T plans as well, when I make the jump from the sinking Sprint ship.
