Glad you're teaching the young one early on.
I remember building some of those growing up. Went to the local high school which had a huge, empty field on weekends to launch them. Lots of fun. Whatever happened to hobby shops though?

Well, the "young one" is in her teens now. We had built a Fat Boy when she was probably 4 or so and it got lost a couple years ago, much to her dismay. So I bought her another one and being more tech savvy than before, she wanted to put an Android on it!
There are three large ones not too far from my house. Recently I've been frequenting them for electric RC planes and helis.
