Moga Pro, tips & troubleshooting

I recently got a Moga Pro power controller and wanted to share some tips.

Update: The Moga controller also works as a bluetooth game controller on your computer. For the pro, just put it in B mode and connect via bluetooth.
All the buttons (except select) work for steam on linux (I use cinnamon mint). For windows I read that the driver is a bit outdated and the 2 triggers don't work on the pro power.
(end of update)

I've had some trouble getting compatible games to be recognized/work. A few things that help is the moga VK app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.sandstorm.mogaime.gui&hl=en
Lets you map buttons using a virtual keyboard, this is great and works well with emulators, and I have used it for other games that let you adjust control settings, like gunman clive.
Update 09/20/2014 Final Fantasy IV (& I am guessing III) work with moga but only if you use the moga VK app. I was a little annoyed that final fantasy wasn't showing up as compatible on the moga pivot app (but it was showing up for iOS on their website)
Sonic CD also works well with moga VK input

one thing I am working on is getting the moga to control a media player app, so I can plug my phone into the tv (when I am traveling) and be able to use it like a remote control. I have had some success using the Moga VK with the VLC app, I can select movies, and stop them, and control volume. I can't pause, or rewind/fast forward. Any help would be nice with this.

Another thing I wish I could do is make touch profiles (which needs root access) like on the sixaxis app. I have tried a few apps from the play store, and couldn't get them to work with my moga pro, and my rooted tablet. If anyone knows of an app that can do this and works well with the moga controller it would be great.
