I'm needed a new phone the previous phone a Palm Treo started to misbehave, like saturdays early alrm on Sun am. So I now have a Xperia U, cheapest I could get with Android, GPS etc. I have a Sony MP3 player with video capability so the limited memory does not annoy.
Worked out of box I did not bother with updates, too risky... I test software for a living. Seems to like the juice from the battery a bit, even after Ive turned off most things, including screen backlight... The treo would last all week.
I'm impressed by the forums excellent help, and Sony's lack of documentation, and I did down load several Sony manuals...
I need to move my phone contacts by blue tooth peer to peer, contact by contact, slow slow, seems to be only way.
