Help Motion Sensor turning screen on when bumped or moved wasting battery life

Motorola Moto E (2nd gen) "Lollipop OS"

Everytime my phone moves or gets bumped, the screen turns on & shows the clock. How do I disable that. I don't want my screen doing anything. I've tried looking around on my phone, nothing. I don't like my screen turning on & showing the clock well it is in my pocket or gets bumped on the table wasting my battery life. I HATE IT!!
