Help Moto 360 (V1)dead?...

Hello guys,

Had my Moto 360 for just over 2years, been wearing the watch all the time.
Loving it, however for some reason the back cover, the one that usually cracks, mine did not crack, it came unstuck!
So the back of the watch is now exposed.

I cannot seem to find spare parts online?... does anyone know where to get one so I can get it replaced.

On the other hand it seems to have random black outs, where it will switch off and will not come on, although there is enough battery, it will go through the boot up sequence and then switch off.
If I place it on the charger, it will boot up and then I will be able to wear it and use it all day.
This might happen once every 20 days or so.

I was thinking of getting a new Smartwatch, but not sure what would be the best replacement? I kind of seen the Huawei W1 as a replacement, my only concern is that this is getting old in the market and I do not want to pay for something that will be replaced in a couple of months time?
What sort of problems do these Huawei's W1 have?

Regarding the smartphones I am using at the moment, a Nexus 6p and a LG G5 so might alternate the watch between them, like I used the Moto360.

Cheers
Vasilis.

I've had the W1 since just after release. Every once in a while you will get a weird rapid battery drain. Usually around OTAs. Other than that, I see no reason to upgrade from it to what may come out next. I'd keep an eye for specials as I wouldn't pay full retail now, but If I saw a decent sale around $200 I wouldn't hesitate to grab one.

I have ordered the W1 today. Got it from PC World for £229.00, which is the cheapest in new boxed condition out there (leather strap model), I was tempted to get a couple of used examples from eBay but without any warranty. So I thought for just spending a few extra pounds I am getting a new one.

I looked at Huawei's website and they have released the Watch 2, which ... I thought what were they thinking design wise?.... It does not appeal to me what so ever.

I had to exchange my W1 watch today with another W1.
The charger which has 4 pins, one of the pins decided to not come out and stuck in. So it would not charge easily anymore.
So took it to the retailer and gave me a brand new sealed box.
These chargers do not seem as they will last long time.
