Last night was pretty big in terms of announcements. We saw two South Korean juggernauts getting a bit antsy and announcing their latest smart watch products well ahead of IFA Berlin. Which of these three do you think has the better design?

I like the G Watch R, it actually looks like a real watch, which I prefer.

And I think it's quite a mood point that people tries to make, regarding it will look dumb with a digital watch face... Because if it look dumb with one watch face, choose one where it looks good. And let's face it, after a week you'll be sticking with the watch face that look best anyway (that's what I've been doing with the G watch anyway)

So far I love my g watch R, I also bought a moto 360 but that blank space on the bottom was annoying me so I returned it and waited for the g watch r.

the 360 and g watch are two that interest me, but they look like it was designed for men only. Way too big for my little feminine wrist. I saw a Gear S and i'm turned on by it

I think the Gear S looks better but the Moto 360 and LG G watch R will be able to do more as more and more apps are developed. Samsung is using their own operating system (Tizen) whereas Motorola and LG are sticking with Android Wear.

I see the G Watch R is a little smaller than the 360. I did keep in mind the closed system with Samsung. It's not a complete turnoff being that I have a Samsung phone. Right now the LG watch is in the lead lol

I have the Moto 360. For me it made the most sense. It looks to be a "classy dress watch" for the man who want's to look stylish. I have a lot of sport watches (more like the LG G Watch R) I do like the look and style of it and all but the 360 spoke to me as a cut above. I love it so far. G watch R would be my second choice. Not a fan of square watches.

I have the LG G Watch R and love it. Might be biased but it's the only one I've seen in the flesh.
The screen is fantastic. Far better than I anticipated.
Glad I opted for the most expensive one.

Just bought the Moto 360...gold tone...its a professional looking watch...and its performance/features are good. The "flat tire" strip at the bottom, takes getting used to, but now I barely notice it.

Lots of places have a name for the bottom spot on the Moto 360.
They call it a "flat tire".
Such a shame they release this way?
It is a great watch however.
Maybe if the ever release the Moto 360 (2) with an entire useable screen I would be interested :)

Until then it is the LG Watch R for me at least!

Ya, I'm having same thought on what to do with the so called "flat tire" at the bottom spot on Moto360? The reason I prefer LG G Watch R is also because I prefer sporty wearables. :)

Just saw some leaks on the new Moto 360 coming out. It still had the "flat tire" ! Now this mat be due to making sure no one notices the newer version of the watch and it will be released with a full screen but who knows for sure? I would love to give one a try but NOT if they keep the screen the way it is :(

It has some purposes, including housing the ambient light sensor. This allows them to keep the bezel so small compared to others.

I don't have one but I don't think it'd be a big deal: While you're displaying a dark watchface, the difference (between flat tire and circle) should be barely noticeable. But "style" is in the eye of beholder and it clearly bugs some folks.
