Moto 360 watch faces

I recently got a 1st generation motorola moto 360 and I love it. But I do have one problem, I downloaded moto connect and it has other watch faces you can use and customize. But none of them show up on my watch. I have tried everything. One thing I saw was to try and Uninstall the app and reset the watch, did not work. Tried restarting my phone, researching apps through android wear, disconnecting the watch and reconnecting it, letting it sit and not touch it for a hour or so and no luck. Whenever I hit apply on the moto connect app after customizing the watch face the watch vibrates and says "minimal updated" even if I don't customize the minimal watch face. Does anyone have any advice for solving this problem?

When I used my Moto 360 (Gen 1) I download watch faces through the Android Wear app and apply them this way. I have never used the Moto Connect app. I would suggest trying to apply watch faces through this application and not the Moto Connect.

Please update on any more information you gather.
 
Do you mean like through the play store? When I open the android wear app it takes me to the play store to download watch faces and I cannot get any of those to work either. I can get some of the watch faces to customize on the watch but only the ones that are already on the watch, not the new ones in the moto connect app.
 
The moto Connect watch faces are just the special moto watchfaces outside of wear, default on moto360. They should appear as regular watchfaces from the start. The customization may take a second to appear but from my experience it was pretty instant. You can also customize these from the wear app as well (which is how I always did it).
 
The ones from moto connect do not appear on my watch. The ones on my watch are still the ones that it came with. None of the new ones from the app. Even if I sync apps. Every time I customize one of the faces that is not on my watch and hit apply, my watch says that the minimal watch face was updated. Even if I don't customize the minimal watch face. It always says minimal updated. I have used the 3rd party apps to get new faces but I really like a couple of the ones on the connect app and really want them to work.
 
I figured it out. I guess since I didn't get the watch very long ago, and have been messing with it so much trying to get the faces to work, it never had the chance to update. Thismorning it updated to the newest version and now everything works. I love this watch even more now that every thing works and I can customize it the way I want to
