First sorry to read about the problems you are having.
Do you have a warranty replacement for it?
Motorola G power and Motorola play devices are considered low end and mid range budget phones. They are designed to last one to two years at best. From my experience the support for them last about a year after they are purchased.
With your device the problem could be with the battery, the mother board, the CPU, heck it could be the charging port giving a false reading.
So here are on somethings you can do.
1) take it back if under warranty and exchange it.
2) take it to a cellphone repair place and have them look at it.
3) go get another phone and move on.
