Help Moto G - Speed Dial Contacts Always Show up after I wake the phone up.

Whenever I "wake up" the phone no matter what I do the Speed dial contacts always just show up on the screen, anyone know how to stop this?
 
Ok, if I just swipe it vertically instead of horizontally, it just goes to the wallpaper screen. I think it has something to do with the new update I just installed. Thanks :-)
