I have been an iPhone owner since day 1. I've owned every iPhone except for iPhone 4. Honestly, I miss it, but not as much as I thought.
After being forced to sell my iPhone, I heard about the i1 coming to boost. I had my doubts even after doing my research. I watched a youtube clip of some idiot claiming that the phone was a dud. Still, I went out and bought it.
To my surprise, the i1 has held it's own as my phone of choice. It offers up the same functionality that my iPhones have offered. Of course, it is android 1.5, so it's a little shaky, but all in all, I'm capable of sending and receiving email, full HTML, android app store, 5 mp camera with video. It has all the good stuff. But the best part about it is that it's only 50 BUCKS A MONTH!!!! How can u beat that.
I have to be honest though, I also own a 3G iPad, so it too is helping to ease my lack of an iPhone blues.
Still, the i1 is a magnificent device for the IDEN network. You are not supposed to have this functionality at such a cheap price. With the i1, I have a better phone than than most people had when the g1 originally came out, or at least the equivalent. It's no iPhone, but for 50 bucks a month, it makes you think. Trust me, this phone deserves some type of award.
