Help Moto Nexus 6 randomly powers off, no battery

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a new Motorola Nexus 6 32GB. I have had it for about a week and few days and I am already experiencing some issues :s.

My phone will randomly completely drain battery and turn off. I don't get a battery low warning, and today it powered off even though the batter bar showed that there was about 35 percent battery left. Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions that I can pursue?

I have been waiting for this one for about a year and needless to say I am so disappointed :(.
 
The device is in fact in a dry environment. I contacted my provider and they are giving me a new phone which is nice. I just hope I wont get that issue again
 
I am having the same issue. Got a replacement phone and the problem with random shut down stil persist. Have tried a factory reset without restoring from previous phone today and if that does not help I will wait for the 5.1 update before i try to RMA. Hoping it is a problem that can be solved with software updates. On my second day with the replacement device.
