Joking of course.I think what they meant was this....After reading some comments, I'd have to agree that what they are trying to state is that in 6 weeks, they will release a roadmap of what current phones can/will receive the ICS update.
Still looking at january/february so its nothing new...

LOL at these bloggers jumping the gun. Nice reading comprehension, guys!
whatever dates they give when the road map is out. I would had about two months to that.
If it were HTC and they produced a road map in the same fashion i would add about 10 months to their estimates. ...#senseisthereasonHTCupdatestakesolong
In the spirit of friendly speculation i say 4-5 weeks after roadmap hits. Xoom, RAZR, Bionic obviously first up.
Xoom should be the first tablet AFTER the Transformer Prime, which looks to be the flagship 4.x tablet right now. Bionic and RAZR should follow shortly after, as you stated. How quick is anyone's guess, but Google has said that faster updates were part of the goal with ICS. Also, OEMs (not named Samsung or HTC) had greatly reduced the amount of "crap" their skins to, which has sped up their own turnaround times.

"these" bloggers...... Seems the media latched on and people ran with it, but to their credit, did not believe it in that context. That is what happens when people truncate communications in drive-by tweets. VZW seem to be stepping out of their element of quiet and not doing too good so far.
To their credit however, they ARE trying.
Sense is a hog in every aspect. Touchwiz is getting better and they update quick its the catriers that slow down updates here in the u.s. the international versions had updates way before their counterparts.
Agree.......I would add the new Blur in there as well. Worlds better than when it first released. I don't know what that wasI would argue after using various Samsung and Moto phones that, while I prefer vanilla for customization, Sense provides the best out of box experience for an Android phone. Sense and Touchwiz usually offers so much more than stock Android that it's ok, IMO, for them to be one version behind in the base OS, as they usually offer most of the additional features of that OS.

I'll take Sense on my Incredible over Blur on the Bionic. Blur has improved, but it's not in the same league as Touchwiz and Sense, yet. Again, my opinion. I still prefer Vanilla as I like to customize, but if I want a phone with a solid out of box experience, I either want the iPhone, WP7, Sense, or Touchwiz. Nothing else in in the same league as those guys.
Not overly concerned about sense/blur, etc.... I just use a different launcher and freeze what I don't need after rooting. I suppose a completely clean slate is preferable (vanilla android) but not necessary IMHO. BTW, I've switched to Nemus launcher about a month ago and am loving it FWIW. Very lightweight, but still enough options, or at least the options I most needed.
