Help Moto X descends text messages

My Moto X resends texts multiple times when I'm texting someone. Kinda annoying for them. Any one else have the same problem or solution?

I don't have an answer, but maybe answers to these questions will help: Which carrier do you use? Which app are you using for text messages?

I use the default messaging app on US cellular

Have you changed any of the default settings?

I'd say one option to try is to switch to the app Hangouts for SMS and see if that works better. You can always switch back if it doesn't work any better, or doesn't work out for some reason.

That's what I'm currently doing. Seems to be working fine. Just wish I could use the default messenger

I figured it out. Had to turn on delivery reports. Stops it from having to resend
