Help Moto Z2 Force, black screen into hard reboot

I suggest you connect it to a turbo charger that you know is operating correctly. Leave it on for two hours. If there is no change take it back to the place that you purchased it.

Moderators ... please move these four messages to a new thread in the Moto Z Force forum.

Anything else i can do though, i left it on the charger most of the evening when i was sleeping, i just charged it with the wall charger, and tried the portable one with a led light..

The reason I have insurance ... I was carrying my Droid Turbo 2 in my shirt pocket, leaned over a pail of mop water, dropped it in. I removed it within seconds. I let it dry for 2 days in dry rice, charged it.

It now seems to do everything normal but the battery goes from 100% to 0% in about 20 min. With water damage you cannot predict anything.

I bought a replacement and started carrying the extended warranty, I keep the damaged Turbo 2 for software testing (while plugged into a charger).

It is not recommend to try charging a water damaged device until you have given it a few days to dry. The dry rice is an old trick.

I have done that with my droid turbo, when got to the store, when reseted the screen was messed up, all i could of ever saw was the clock. I really do not want to go up there and rant .

If it is water damage ranting won't matter. Protection from water damage is specifically excluded from the warranty and the only protection is the added insurance.
