1. I've yet to be able to log on to the Motocast site. I just get a screen that lets me change my password. I change it but don't advance to a different screen. No options to do anything else.
2. Using Motocast, I've set up folders for my computer and phone to sync. Not seeing the benefit here since the devices have to be within the same (network) area. A slight benefit but I'd like to have the songs, pictures, recipes, documents on the phone permanently. I'd like to just delete all this Motocast stuff and make folders that I can just drag and drop using a USB cable...I'm not a smartphone "power" user. Don't' have to have everything synced and uploaded to the web for the world to see. Just *simply* want to have my photos, files and music stored on the phone. So far, I've not found too much simple about this phone (Razr). Trying to find anything is nearly impossible. The file structure doesn't make much sense to me
My little LG enV Touch had a simple, straight forward set of folders.
3. I purposely turned off my network's wifi to see if any of my personal files that are synced with Motocast and my desktop would still display on my phone. I didn't think it would, but it did. How? However, not all of the music would play. Most of it said the desktop was offline. Why could some of the songs play but not all of them? And speaking of music playing, I used the BTST mode in my car to play my phone's music thru the car's speakers. When I got back in the house and tired to play a song, the music was muted. Maybe all sounds, I'm not sure. Couldn't figure out how to unmute the music. No settings seemed to indicate a problem. Got an email notification and BAM! the music came on
4. If I select a song via the Motocast music icon I have the option of touching the record icon to bring up the lyrics. If I access music from a folder I made, I have a choice of the Motocast "My Music" player or Google player. Using the same Motocast "My Music" player, I do NOT get the option of showing lyrics. Any ideas why?
Thanks for anything you can offer to help.I think my "dumb phone" and I were more compatible
