Help Motorola Bluetooth devices and G2 Touch

We have two Motorola Bluetooth devices - an HS850 and an H700. Both worked fine with preevious phone handsets but neither seem to work with my wife's G1 or my G2 Touch.

Does anyone else have any issues with these or can confirm which Bluetooth devices do work with the G1 or G2?

The Bluetooth on my G2 is turned on and it is temporarily set to discoverable. It finds other bluetooth devices but never finds either of the Motorolas.

Any advice much appreciated!

Has nobody else ever had any issues with bluetooth headsets and G1 or G2's? Is it just us?

Hmmm... this is interesting. I'm starting to wonder if we're talking about an incompatibility between older Motorola devices and certain Android phones via Bluetooth.

I'll have to do some searching on the 'net but maybe Android is expecting v1.1 of Bluetooth and the Motorola's could be v1?
