Motorola Droid, PDANet and Ubuntu Bluetooth Manager

OK, so I successfully rooted my Droid last night. The main reason I wanted to root my Droid was to be able to use the Bluetooth tethering. Now, I don't know if there are many people here who have pulled this off, but I'm having trouble getting Bluetooth Manager to connect to the Droid and use it for an internet tether. When I try connecting to use the DUN, it gives a CDMA or GSM not supported message. Has anybody here been successful in using their Droid for data in Ubuntu?
