Motorola Droid vs. HTC Incredible?

Lurker
I've had the Moto Droid since last November and am on my 5th one.

Big problem with the screen going dark when I take it away from my face to hit numbers to check voice mail messages from my office. It has nothing to do with the time out period as that's set on 1 minute.

This seems to be a problem with a lot of the Moto Droids and I'm at my wit's end about it.

I'm thinking of getting the Incredible instead but am curious to know people's opinions.

Thanks.

sounds like a similar issue discussed a while back in the galaxy section, where dust gathered on the proximity sensor - not sure how the droid is set up, but blowing (compressed) air through the speaker hole fixed the issue for those who had it on the galaxy

I will talk for Camera only.In that point the Winner is HTC Incredible.

With an 8.0-megapixel sensor hiding underneath a bulbous red eye on the back, the Droid Incredible nearly breaks out of smart phone territory and into point-and-shoot turf. By comparison, the Droid only packs 5 megapixel. But resolution alone does not a camera make. The Droid Incredible also offers a dual-LED flash, autofocus, and on-th-fly adjustments for brightness, contrast, and ISO level, which give it the leg up on the Droid
