Motorola Droid's 2.1 update to be rolled out OTA starting Thursday

If you are rooted and love what you already have, is there ANY reason to get the upgrade?
 
So, Motorola's facebook page comments seem to say this update will NOT include increasing the number of home screens past the current 3. What gives?

Same question. I'm new to the Droid and Android in general, but I've rooted my phone and installed an OC kernal and 2.1 ROM. Any reason to switch?
 
If you are using an ESE53 rom, then you already have what the over the air update will be. If you are using an ESE53 custom rom, then you probably have more features than what will come in the OTA (ie, more than 3 screens).
