Help Motorola Migrate

Anyone have any success with this? I tried but it didn't migrate anything from my other phone. Tried from a Defy to a new MotoG.
So am trying to do it manually through my computer but more apps I have on the Defy don't even show up, so I cannot transfer them manually?
My Defy worked perfectly but the MotoG is totally confusing.

To transfer apps, you can download the same apps from Google Play to your Moto G, or use some phone transfer software, like MobileGo. It allows to manage two Android device at the same time. Then, transfer apps from your defy to Moto G.
