Android Question

I apologize in advance if this is long.
Lol,heh..
---- Background ----
Type of phone: Motorola Milestone (1)
Provider: AT&T
I don't know how this is going to help, but...
Android Version: 2.2.1
Kernel Version: 2.6.31.9-gafbfc43
w21529@il93lnxebld12 #1
Build Number: SHOLS_U2_05.26.1
Also:
Network: Unknown
Signal Strength: -113 dBm 0 asu
Mobile Network Type: Unknown
Service State: Out of Service
Roaming: Not roaming
Mobile network state: Disconnected
The process of fu%#ing up my phone:
1). I rooted, well more or less atttempted, my phone with z4root.
2). After being told to restart my phone, I did... Only to find out it was soft bricked. (Would only load to the Motorola logo and stop.)
3). Therefore, I proceeded to factory reset it, and once it did turn on and everything, I noticed it won't and wouldn't get any signal with my working AT&T Sim Card.
I would REALLY appreciate if you could help me by telling me what's wrong and how to fix my phone, if not, just maybe.. Where I can get it fixed.
Thanks anyway for reading.
