Help Motorola not asking for password etc

[Android Question]

My android phone (Motorola) isn't asking for my password like it usually does, so anyone can get into it, also the on-screen buttons are not working apart from the 'back' button. I can get onto apps, but not off of them.
The quick settings thing is not working.either. I have tried turning the phone on and off but that doesn't do anything.

Which phone and what version of Android (Marshmallow?)?

You could try clearing cache, that might work. It's very easy to do, we can point you to the right steps once you tell us what you have

..am facing same issues as mentioned above.. using Moto g5 plus
