Motorola Razr: How to insert SIM Card

The Motorola Razr 2020 Flip Phone will soon begin shipping and the first thing users will do when they rip it out of the box and load it up is realize they don't have mobile connectivity. They'll look for a SIM Card slot so they can transfer their SIM card from their old phone into the RAZR but realize the Razr doesn't have a SIM Card slot or tray!

So how do you insert a SIM Card in the Motorola Razr 2020?

• The Razr uses an eSIM (electronic SIM card)
• To locate your eSIM number go to:
  • Settings > About phone > SIM status > ICCID
• Connect your device to the internet via WiFi
• Download the My Verizon app to input your eSIM number
• Or call Verizon to add service to your eSIM at 1-800-922-0204

For people who don't live in the USA, there will be carrier-specific instructions for you.

(Verizon may be the monopoly supplier in the US, btut he US is only ~1/30th of the world's population and this phone is available elsewhere).

Even in the US, the Moto RAZR will probably be available unlocked so you can use it on another carrier.

Several other Moto phones have been a "Verizon Exclusive" but can also be bought unlocked for other networks.
