Root Motorola Razr Root

I dropped my GNex and it smashed my screen. The phone needed to be replaced, but I didn't want to shell out another $100+ for another GNex from Verizon. They said I could get a "free" Razr. I went that route just to hold me over until September. That's where I am today.

I need to root this beast, but I can't find a rooting guide that will work for my version. (System = 6.16.211.XT912) I'm on ICS 4.0.4.

Anyone know where to look?

1) they both do a fresh install, so backup your photo's, etc, before doing them.
2) once you install JB, you CANNOT go back to ICS, ever.
3) after you do either one, do a factory data reset before you start installing apps - it's just a good idea.

I used the 1.82 to roll my phone back to .211 (I was on .215). Did a factory data reset than took the JB OTA. Did another FDR. Used the Razr Blade utility ([XT-912 ONLY][ROOT][Windows] Razr Blade: Droid Razr 4.1 JB root exploit - DroidRzr.com) to re-aqcuire root on JB. Now, life is good.

Oh, this process DOES NOT make any changes to SD or SD-EXT cards (but do a backup just to be sure).
