Sprint announced today that this phone will be coming to VM "this summer."
Pros:
- 4.1" screen, 800 x 400 WVGA
- 1 GHz processor
- 512 MB RAM, 2GB ROM
- front and rear facing cameras
Cons (IMHO):
- not a dual core processor
- no side camera button
- comes with Froyo 2.2
No pricing data available yet.
Will you upgrade your Intercept when the Triumph becomes available?
I will, but probably not right away. I may wait until the upgrade to 2.3 becomes available. But that 4.1" screen is really tempting.
The reviews all take the interesting viewpoint that VM customers don't really want/need serious phones. I think they'll be really surprised at how well this thing sells. One reviewer did wonder if a lot of ATT/Verizon/Sprint customers would be dropping their plans for VM when the Triumph becomes available.
