Motorola will fix your broken screen for free

Only hitch might be where you bought it.

Looking for further clarification, we spoke to a customer service rep and confirmed that the free screen replacement service applies to any phone bought directly through Motorola or customized with the Moto Maker.

Wow thanks for this tip. This is quite a surprise. I am impressed so far by the innovative design and extra perks from Motorola. Another perk is the phone is pretty much waterproof---if submerged in regular water of 1 foot deep or so. So dropping the phone in the bathtub, toilet, puddle, maybe even a pool by accident does not mean the phone should be presumed dead.
