I think ut will be available in all carriers eventually

its actually a verizon tablet (as far as we know), but AT&T did announce that they will be carrying multiple 4g tablets in 2011

Thanks for the responses, all. Let me restate the original question to help focus this: with a Motorola Xoom purchased from, say, Best Buy, how would you be able to run another mobile provider, aside from Verizon, to have data access on the device?

you wouldnt at this time unless its the wifi version. Or you have a mifi from another company and run it off that on wifi
