Help Mov player?

My go-to videoplayer for years has been MX Player, but for whatever reason, I can't play mov files with it on my Note 8. I've tried a few others without luck, too, including VLC. Anyone know an app that works with mov files? Thanks in advance!

i have no issues playing mov on mx.

are you saying ANY mov video you cant play or just one particular one?

You had me worried there Teris. I love MX Player. You probably ran into some DRM protected files.

No, it's not a protected file. I'm working on a commercial and a company doing special effects sent me a mov clip of the effect. I could open it on my PC, but not on my phone with MX.
