Move contacts from work email to gmail?

This might be a dumb question but how can I copy or move a contact that is from my work email over to my gmail account on my phone?
I could have sworn I did this before but now don't see how to do it.

I have a samsung moment with the 2.1 update.

I searched here and on the web and didn't see anything.

Same issue here. Please let me know if you find a solution. You used to be able to copy contacts before with the early version of the OS. Big loss!

Export the contact or contacts as a vcard from your work email. Log into google accounts and go to contacts and import the vcard. This will automatically be pushed to your phone as your contacts are synced with google contacts anyways.

What client do you use to access your work email? I.e., where are your contacts stored?
