Help Move data to larger SD card

I bought a 16GB SD card to replace the std 2GB SD card that came with my ACE.

How do I copy/move the data and all installed Apps on the 2GB SD card to the new 16GB SD card without reinstalling everything?:D

copy all your files from your old sd card to the computer and then switch the new card in your ace (after formatting the new sd card) and then just transfer all files and data from your computer and put them in your sd card.

Thanks, I'll try it that way. I did put it in a card reader, but not everything was visible when I put the sd card back in the phone.

I changed the SD to a larger one on my ACE. I just copied all the files (made sure the show hidden files was ticked) to the new SD and put that SD on the phone. It worked great.

The only thing i needed to reconfigure was the ringtones, I had to select them again. It seems the OS lose the ringtone preference after putting a new SD.

Sd card apps are stored in the .android_secure folder in the card, just make sure you move that to the new card and you won't have to reinstall anything.

The other folders might contain some app data depending on the app, but nothing that would require reinstalling the app.
