move music from phone to computer wont let me sync

How do I get music off my phone to a computer it won't let me syn

It would REALLY help if you gave us more information, like what phone you have, what computer, are you getting any error messages, etc.

But basically, connect the phone to the computer, put the phone in Disk Drive mode, navigate to where your music is on the card, and then drag it to your computer.

I have a HTC inspire by at&t I hook it up my computer and it wont sync. I have a HP laptop it will bring up new hardwear found but that's is far as it goes I can find my phone or a disk drive on my computer so I don't know if i am not doing something to phone to let it sync or its my computer.

Plug the phone into the computer, select Disk Drive mode in the notification pull down on the phone. Wait a few seconds for windows to recognize it, then open the sd card, and drag whatever music you want off of it.
