I lost and recovered photos. They are in a temporary file. I don't see an option to move them to my gallery. There's only general options like sd card.

The gallery is not a location. If they were pictures you took with the camera you can put them back in the DCIM>Camera folder, otherwise you can stick them in pretty much any folder on the /sdcard partition (this is not an actual sd card, but your phone's internal storage location.
