Movie Recommendations.

I'm Not Real, Doris!
Well i don't know if a thread like this was made, but if it hasn't then i think this is a greatidea. a place tho recommend/discuss good moves that we've watched and would recommend. Doesn't matter from what time period. I recommend the movie Warrior :D

i recommend the movie wrong is right (aka the man with the deadly lens).

i recommend to avoid the blair witch project, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and any star wars movie lol

I found Event Horizon interesting. If you enjoy movies that mess with your mind, I thought Triangle and Sucker Punch were both good at that.

If you must watch Blair Witch Project, take your motion sickness remedy of choice first. I'm not prone to motion sickness and I got queasy watching it.

Most Mel Brooks movies are worthwhile if you're in a comedy mood.

Shutter Island, Memento, The Prestige, and The Illusionist. all great movies (IMO). there's alot more i've seen too that i'm sure i'll add as i think of them

I like to recommend Winters Bone because not that many people have seen it. Also Hard Candy, High Tension, and I agree on Memento. The Hunger Games was the last movie I saw at the theater, and it was good.

Some of my good movies...

The Book of Eli
Fresh
Danny the Dog
Unforgiven
Johnny Cool

Just to name a few.

I've pretty much given up on theaters. Prices, parking, volume (can get painful), climate control, not very clean, other patrons yapping or playing with phones (or both), etc.

I much prefer to watch movies at home. Cheaper, parking is still bad but that's just my neighborhood), I can control volume and temperature, can pause for the restroom, food's better and more reasonably prices, can use subtitles (DH and I both have normal hearing, but find subtitles helpful in noisier scenes or when actors are mumbling), and seating is somewhat more comfortable (buying that couch we plan to in a few months should help with that).
