Hi,
Can anyone help me with a movie issue I have with my Samsung Galaxy GT-I5700. In short, I cannot 'fast forward' with any movie or restart from where I stopped. I've tried the default movie player and mVideoPlayer. With both of them if I try to go forward, say, a minute it might take 30 seconds to get going. If I go forward 20 minutes then the movie never starts. Similarly if I stop, close down the app, reopen the video app and restart a movie the movie just won't start. I can 'pause' and 'unpause' it but nothing happens.
During the week I was watching a movie and it just crashed after 25 minutes.
As it stands this would be an avi movie or at least that is the extension. MP4 movies don't currently play but that is a query for another day. Even the divx sample created by divx while registering a device played but then complained and never worked again as the DivX@VOD immediately changed its registration code. I tried the Free Video Converter from koyotesoft.com but no joy there and currently trying Any Video Converter.
Anyhow main concern is how to get the videos that do start to be able to restart from where I left off. I can worry about MP4s later. BTW it would be fireware version 2.1-update1 that is on the phone.
All help would be most appreciated.
