Movies That Catch You Off-Guard

Some time ago I bought the DVD of "Employee of the Month" on sale.

Today, sick in bed, I dropped it in the player. I didn't know anything about it other than it had a good cast.

Until a certain point, I thought it was about something related to the title.

Which got me to thinking about other movies you go see where you think it's going to be about one thing, and boy are you mistaken!

What are some others?

Saw The Lobster on netflix a few weeks ago.....

and then had to try and explain it to someone who hadn't seen it at a christmas party.... Its a film that I knew was odd, but went in a whole new direction of strangeness..

And last nights movie-night was Birdman...

... now thats a movie that was odd.... or was it... yeah it was...

have a feeling i need to watch it through again to join up a lot of threads, and answer some of those questions
