Help Moving apps to usb storage.

Lurker
So recently When I tried to download an app it said "insufficient storage available" so I went into my storage option in settings and, yes, my Device Memory is low, but my Usb Storage is not. So I was just wondering if there was a way to move my apps to the usb storage? I would prefer them on there anyway since it has more memory and I don't want to us a SD Card because it loads to slow.
I am on android 4.1.2 Jellybean.
Thanks please help

Welcome to the forums! :)

Bad news, on most Jellybean implementations, apps to sd card simply doesn't work without being rooted - but - that can be device-specific. I think that using usb storage (usb stick) could be tricky at best.

Which phone do you have?

Dang, I don't know specifics on that one.

Those vary by carrier, too.

Tell you what - please let me know which carrier and if you're rooted or not, and let me move this for you to one of the SGS2 forums where someone who owns the same as you can give you the straight dope on this.

Sound good?
