Help Moving Discontinued App to new phone?

Hello! I didn't realize until I got a new phone that one of my favorite apps has been removed from the app store for some reason!

However it's a paid app and I've just spent 2 hours trying to figure out all sorts of ways to transfer it to my new phone... I've tried all kinds of apk transfers and none have work and I'm about to go insane!

Do you have any suggestions?
 
Normally you can still download a previously-installed app from the Play Store even if it is discontinued (provided you use the same Google account, obviously). I take it you've tried that though?

So what is the actual problem when you try to install the apk on the new phone? Or do these tools not get that far?
 
For apk share to work, you will have to enable Unknown Sources in your security settings.
 
No, the app is not listed on the Play Store. I even called Google and they said it was removed and there is no longer a record of it.
The app is called 'PMS Monitor For Men' (a highly useful app, and I have recently gotten into another relationship which is what started this quest to put it back on my phone), luckily I still have my old phone which has the app running on it.

I have tried a few apps to transfer the APK from my old phone but because it's a purchased app the transfer apps I have tried either won't let it transfer, or when I transfer it there is some error when loading the app on the new phone. Both phones are set to "Enable Unknown Sources".

I spent two hours already (when I face a problem I usually can't stop until I've figured out a solution) and I'm going nuts!

Does that link work (You'll need to be logged in to your Google account on a PC)? Regardless of whether or not it's been pulled, if you installed it, it should still be available (especially if it was a paid app).

Unfortunately no.... it just takes me to a blank Google Play page saying the requested URL is unavailable. This is the roadblock I've hit every time :-/
When I spoke to the Google rep they told me the app was pulled and there was no way to reinstall it from the Play store.
 
Any way to use a file Explorer or app to transfer to your SD card? Send to Dropbox? If rooted, move apk?
