Moving files from external SD card to internal card on GS3?

New GS3 owner so be patient....

I have a Mac, which for the most part means workarounds for everything involving transferring files from computer to Android.

In this case, I pulled all my address book contacts from my Mac and put them on a newly formatted Fat32 62GB microSD card which I inserted in the GS3.

Using Astro and Root Explorer, the phone sees the .png photos on the card.

The problem is, phone contacts will not upload the picture from an external SD card. I have to transfer those pictures to the phone's internal card.

How can I do this internally?

Is there a way to copy/paste a folder from the microSD card to the phone's card?

I am rooted, so perhaps I have a better choice of programs.

Thanks

You can use Root Explorer if you want (personally, I like ES File Explorer better):
1) Find the folder you want to copy.
2) Press and hold on that folder.
3) Select copy from the menu.
4) Go to your internal memory.
5) Select Paste.
6) Profit.

Thanks for the assistance.

Had trouble finding the external card with ES FILE EXPLORER, though I agree it is a much nicer interface over the other devices.

I opened up Parallels on my Mac which runs Windows on a virtual machine. Just plugged my Samsung GS3 into the USB, downloaded the latest Samsung drivers and then was able to transfer the files using the Windows finder.

I will install the My Files app immediately. Curious to see how that looks.

Thanks everyone.
